“Art is life!” – My mission as an artist is to bring a pleasant moment to the observer of any of my artistic creations. From drawings and paintings to sculptures and installations, I search inside myself trying to extract constructive and positive feelings to form 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional pieces. Its shapes may help observers forget all their momentarily conditions due to their intimacy with the organic shapes I create. I have reinterpreted one of the most celebrated sculptures in the world, Nike of Samothrace, located at Louvre Museum, and the Doral Relay for Life’s logo. This became the inspiration to create a trophy in honor of fighting Cancer. I believe that people facing this are eager for life’s victory. City of Doral is where I live and where I spend my time creating new artwork. Designing a commemorative trophy is the way I add one more candle of hope for the participants on the American Cancer Society event – Relay for Life 2017 at Doral Downtown Park.
